CAMP’s 2018 Memorial Day Ceremony

Citizens Advocating Memorial Preservation (CAMP) held it’s first Memorial Day Ceremony as owners of the Cattaraugus County Memorial and Historical Building at 10 AM on May 28th, 2018.

The ceremony was held in conjunction with the annual Little Valley Memorial Day Parade sponsored by the Little Valley American Legion Post #531 and the Little Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #873. CAMP wishes to extend a big thank you to Allie Burdick of the Little Valley American Legion Post #873, Stan Board of the Little Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #873 and the Band Director of the Cattaraugus Little Valley Central School Band, Chris Maguda, for pausing the parade at the Memorial Building while a memorial wreath was placed there in honor of all US Veterans. It proved to be a very poignant moment!

Thank you also to all of the CAMP Members who showed up and helped to decorate the Memorial Building in preparation for the parade and the laying of the Memorial Wreath that was provided by CAMP Member Gail Bellamy.
